AIMM Mission

To commemorate America's rich naval and maritime heritage through the preservation and exhibition of historic naval vessels with an emphasis on the era of World War II through the present.

AIMM has a wide variety of multimedia for you to enjoy.

Our latest mutlimedia effort is a virtual tour. It covers Razorback's history as well as describing each compartment in detail. We hope that if you aren't able to come visit us in person, that you would download the virtual tour and enjoy it as a substitute.

Artifacts

The process of cataloging AIMM's artifacts is an ongoing process, and more information, including photographs and a full description of our artifacts, will be posted as it becomes available. Among the many artifacts available online are:

  • Plaques
  • Scrapbooks
  • Brochures
  • Patrol Reports

Videos

A wide variety of USS Razorback related videos have been created, some by former crew members, some by local student groups and some just by ordinary visitors to the submarine.

Photographs

Many different photographs are available online, from official U.S. Navy photographs of Razorback's construction and service, to candid photographs of her officers and crew during their rare leisure time.
